Catching up with my cuz

I enjoyed catching up with my cousin Daniel who came to Arohanui for a visit. We chilled out in the garden under the umbrella. It was a good afternoon.

Christmas Tree

Today at our Wilrose centre we put up and decorated the Christmas tree

Personal book

I have been working on my personal book each week to try and get it finished by the end of the year. I enjoy having a catch up with my friends and telling a few jokes which we do our books.

Raffle Draw

The raffle draw was so exciting today! I was so happy that the prizes went to people from the centre.

It's always good coming in and singing my favourite songs we all enjoy it and have a good time

Karaoke

Today we all had turns at choosing a song to listen and sing along to. I chose Nivarna, we had a blast singing together.

Circus in a flash

I swapped my days around so I could go to the circus day at Wilrose. It was great fun ....... I might run away and join them! 😀

The Internet and my fav band

It's a chilly cold day today so I hopped on the computer and did some googling of my favourite bands. I really really like Nirvana! My favourite song of theres is Heart shaped box or smells like teen spirit. I like to rock out to them all the time!

Balloon tennis

Getting all warm with some exercise this morning playing a hilarious game of hitting a balloon to each other with a noodle. I got in some good shots and it was so funny!

Friends

I love coming to Arohanui and chatting with my friends. My mate Modz has come back after a while away. We both love wrestling!

Chatting up a storm

I love having a chat with my friends when I come to Arohanui. After a busy morning of personal books I had the opportunity to get out of my wheelchair and have a chat with my mate Shelley! 

Pie time

Had a pal Arnie come for a visit and we hung out and ate pies, yummy yummy in my tummy!

Sensory

I got so comfortable in sensory today, with the heat, blanket and lovely smells, I fell asleep and dreamt of a meadow with cute baby deer and bunnies. It was like heaven, I really chilled out. 

Mushroom pie

I must have had some mushrooms in my pie! Check out how big my smile is!

Did some IPad time and kept warm from the low temperature outside, brr.

Tree-ty

We are making a treaty at the centre using all of our decorated hands to look like a tree! Tree-ty - get it! Ha ha! Here is my hand! 

Let’s move.j

In the Let’s Move session I got to dress up as a butterfly as we played, it was awesome fun, I even got to wear a moustache and do an impression of a guy who has a dodgy tach! Check me out.

Balls and balloons

I had a bit of fun with our group . We played keep the balloon off the ground, freeze dancing and some stretches. We had a lot of laughs!

Chilling

OMG, so tired after all my morning activity, having a wonderful knap in sensory, I'm so cosy!

Happy birthday to me....

Everyone at the centre surprised me with a yummy birthday cupcake and sung me happy birthday! Check out my mate Nikorima eyeing up my cupcake.

So comfy

I love getting out of my wheelchair and having the opportunity to relax in a bean bag. It's so comfy and often I fall asleep! 

SPCA fluffy kittens

I really enjoyed a community outing to the SPCA to visit the cats and kittens. We were all tempted to put a kitten in our pocket and take one home but it is a big responsibility!

Food challenge

I would like to put some weight on but this guy on the net is crazy. He is Bad Luck Fale (Fale Samitaitoko), a pro wrestler and he is completing a Japanese food challenge.

Fun Friday karaoke!

Today was a crack up day! Everyone chilled back at the centre today so we spent the afternoon doing music and karaoke out in the main room. I didn't feel like singing but I sat right up the front and cheered all my mates on. What a rad Friday afternoon!

Research

I did a bit of research today at the centre using the iPad. It's great being able to use the iPad and / or computer to investigate things and then discuss them with my mates! 

Yatton park dog party!

Visited Yatton park and checked out some of the cute dogs! We met Kina the golden retriever who was super friendly.
