I had a great time on the electric drum kit when we had a music and karaoke morning at the centre. I put on a wig to get the full drummer effect! Watch out Nirvana ...... here comes Matt Warner!

Cultural day practice

I've been getting my Asian on, doing some ribbon dancing and wearing this cool hat. I'm practicing for our cultural day where I will be able to show off my skills.

Arty Farty

I painted a board green today to put up on the wall with everyone else’s artwork. I don’t normally paint but I was feeling arty farty today!

Quiz day and Pumpkin Soup

I had a fun day at the Wilrose Quiz - I was in the best team and although we came last ...... I had fun! I really liked the pumpkin soup too that we had for lunch. The pumpkins were grown in the Wilrose garden and at the farm.

Chinese for a day

Today we looked into the Chinese ribbon dance. We learnt about the meaning behind of it.

1st day back

Loved my first day back at Arohanui after weeks of being away - so good to be out of the house.
