Party Time

I had a cool day partying with my friends. The food was delicious, the clowns were funny and I spent all day dancing/ socialising with my friends and the DJ!

Check out this mannequin that we have at centre ...... her name is Priscilla and she has been dressed in the theme of Christmas.

Dress ups ........

We have a few wigs at the centre for dress ups and I’m thinking about changing my hair. I’m either going to shave it all off or grow it long like Kurt Cobain!

A friends birthday ........

I helped my friend celebrate he birthday at the centre. She was so kind to share a birthday cake with us too. Yum!

Ocean wildlife symphony

I enjoyed the ocean theme in sensory this week. I was feeling this shell a could swear I felt something inside it. It was good to kick back and relaxing at the beach.

Chilling Out in Sensory

I had a nice relaxing time in sensory with my friend Sophie. I like chilling in the beanbag.

Create and Display

I had fun chilling with my friends, listening to music and catching up while we coloured in some Indian designs for Create and Display this week.

Group Art Project - Big Love

We started painting signs all about “Love” and “Arohanui” to decorate a wooden tree at Red Square for Christmas through the Incubator! Peace and Love man ✌🏼

Talent quest

I had a great day watching everyone at the Talent Quest. I got up an rocked out to ‘Come as you are’ by Nirvana with my mate Isaac. It was awesome.

Just before music and karaoke 🎤 I got to hang out with my mates, we all posed for a pic, check us out.

Disco

We had a disco at Wilrose Centre. It was a busy day with people from the other centres too. There was a wheelchair conga line at one point. Funny!

Music

I like chillin at the end of the day with my mate Modz ...... sometimes I listen to Korn ......... sometimes I listen to Barbie Girl by Aqua!!!!

Highland Games

I took part in the Highland Games. I had a go at the Target Board and managed to score some points yay! It was good catching up with my mates from the other centres.

Black finger nails

I had my finger nails painted black today. It was a nice sensory experience and I look super cool now!

Sensory ... sounds and smells

I really enjoy getting out of my wheelchair and relaxing in a bean bag in the sensory room. Today we had some relaxing music, a waterfall picture and the wax burner on with some sweeeeeeeeet smells!

Maremma Dogs

I enjoyed meeting the Maremma dogs that came to visit us at the centre. They were big and really soft. They guard and protect people and animals really well when they have been trained properly.

Hot dogs

We made American hot dogs in cooking this week.

Pool at the Pub

I had a great time challenging my friends to a game of pool at the pub on Friday.

Sensory squishiness .........

I usually like to chill out in sensory but this time I enjoyed chatting with my friend Sophie and feeling some weird sensory things ....... like these orbeez. So wet and squishy!

Chicken and noodles

I helped make chicken and noodles in cooking today. Then I ate it for my lunch! Yumtastic!

Cooking up a storm ......

I am in a cooking session this year .... I’m enjoying making some different snacks and meals with a group of guys!
