Arohanui christmas party 2023

 It was an awesome day spent dancing with friends, watching the circability glow in the dark acts, eating yummy food and getting a present to open at this year's 2023 Christmas party. I had a great time! See you all back here in 2024.

 

Karaoke

 I sung a rock song to my friends in Karaoke. They had never heard of it before it was called, cult of personality by living colour. It's sounds pretty modern but it actually came out in 1988!!!

Fun at the park.

The weather was great, and what a way to spend fun day Friday at Memorial Park, enjoying the different activities from Circability.

 

Balancing act

 There's never a dull moment here at Arohanui Wilrose. This week I was doing different circus tricks, balancing the flower sticks and spinning the rings around  my arm.

Fergerson park beach

 I enjoyed hanging out with friends at Fergerson Park Beach. We sung songs, played volleyball and had a few laughs. I liked being out in the sun with my mates.

My time

 I always love jumping on an iPad in my time usually to listen to my favorite music, or catching up with the wrestling. Aswell as chatting to friends and telling each other jokes.

 It was cool singing with my friends.

 We had circability come  today, we all had a great time  ,I  learned a new trick its called plate spinning , I managed to get my plate spinning,  I really enjoyed my morning. 

Wii Bowling

 I had a great morning with a bunch of mates playing a few rounds of wii bowling. I was kicking some butt but we all cheered each other on and had an awesome time.

Fun Friday

 Today we had  a fun day of games , I got to practice my skills on the Wii game , playing many games in this picture we were all playing tenpin bowling .

 We had a game of cranium and I had to balance a dice on my nose which I managed to do . It was a bit of a laugh playing cranium 

Circability

 I have not been into Arohanui  for a couple of weeks  , but I really enjoyed the circability which we had the day I came back it was great fun . I look forward to doing it next time .

Talent quest practice

 I've been practcing some jokes for my slot in the talent quest that's coming up in September. Everyone's been working hard getting their performances right. I can't wait to make everyone laugh! Here's cheering on the boys doing their haka. 

Paper plane competition

 I gave my friends a paper plane competition in Twinkl this week. It didnt quiet fly how I was hoping, it did a boomerang and came back, to me! 

Pamper moring

 I felt so relaxed after having a pamper morning this week. I got my hands massaged wi3th moisturiser followed by my neck , arms and back massaged by Denise and Ani. I also got my goatie coloured green! 

Wilrose Fun

 I look forward to seeing my friends at Wilrose, sing a tune or two and I will be doing a comedy skit for the upcoming talent show.

Games and friendship

This week we played a describing game. We got given a card with an object/ animal on it and we had to ask questions to work out what it was. We also played a fun game where we had to use the word 'elephants' and see how many words we could make using those letters. There's more than you would think!!!

Snowflakes art

 I tested out my cutting skills today, making my very own snow flake that will be used to decorate the room for next weeks disco. I think it turned it great.

 I had a really fun day singing some waiata 

Connect 4

 She beat me!!!! I had fun playing a few rounds of Connect 4 with my friend Sophie. I won one in the end. It’s always great catching up with my friends at Arohanui. 

Friendship

 It’s always good on a weds when I meet my friends from Wilrose at Connect 20 sometimes we have good laugh and chat while having a drink. I enjoy seeing my friends down there.

 I love hanging out with mates and singing songs in Karaoke 

Birthday cake

 Today my friends at Wilrose made a birthday card and gave me a small cake and sang happy birthday to me. I had fun blowing out the candle.

Friendship

 I love hanging out with my matesbin my time! I even made a new friend this week which is really cool

Music

 I came into the centre dressed up looking like Tupac but in my time I preferred to listen to one of my favourite bands Nirvana. My favourite song of theirs is heart shaped box. Rock on.
